The film is based on a childrens book and tells a story based on true events in a Jewish Ghetto at the time of World War II.

The author Batsheva Dagan is a Shoah survivor and child psychologist. Today she lives in Israel.

The film was screened on over 80 film festivals worldwide and won numerous awards. All festivals and awards in the catalogue: Chika/aug&ohr

The Israeli Ministry of Education in Jerusalem and the Goethe Institut in Tel Aviv use the filmĀ  for screenings and school education programmes.
